About this file

This document is a meeting minutes record from the Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Peer to Peer Support 2025 Request For Proposals (RFP) Informational meeting held on April 16, 2025. The meeting, hosted by Keri Bennett from Nebraska VR, included attendees from the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska and focused on clarifying proposal submission guidelines. The informational meeting provided a Zoom link for recording access and addressed two key questions from potential applicants regarding cost proposal documentation and proposal narrative length restrictions.

The document reveals that Nebraska VR is only permitted to report in-kind match from state sources for their Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) grant program, explicitly excluding federal in-kind match sources like Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) funds. Notably, there are no character, word, or page limits for any sections of the submitted proposal, providing applicants with flexibility in their narrative presentations. The meeting minutes offer transparency into the RFP process, demonstrating the state's commitment to clear communication with potential program implementers for the ABI Peer to Peer Support initiative.
