About this file
This document is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) responses and frequently asked questions from the City of College Park, Maryland, regarding RFQ NO. CP-27-01 for a Vision Zero Safety Action Plan Consultant. The City of College Park is seeking a qualified professional consulting firm to serve as its Safety Action Plan Consultant for the development of a city-wide Comprehensive Safety Action Plan under the United States Department of Transportation Fiscal Year 2024 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. The RFQ document addresses submission procedures, with proposals required to be submitted in physical copy to the City, though electronic copies may also be emailed to visionzero@collegeparkmd.gov for convenience.
The RFQ clarifies disclosure and certification requirements outlined in Section 5, specifying that while most required information applies to the prime consultant only, litigation and claims history must be disclosed for both the prime consultant and any proposed subconsultants for the past five years. This requirement ensures transparency regarding any past or pending litigation, claims, or contract disputes involving either the prime firm or its subconsultants, thereby establishing the financial and legal standing of all parties involved in the project.
