About this file

This is a Schedule A Statement of Work issued by the State of Michigan (RFP No. 180000003268) for the procurement of one bioMerieux VIDAS VC VIDAS and VC VILINK system for the MDARD Geagley Laboratory, which is a member of the FDA Food Emergency Response Network (FERN). The scope includes the provision of new equipment with a one-year warranty, compatible software, delivery within 30 business days, installation within 45 calendar days, and on-site service requirements. The equipment will be connected to an existing VIDAS system at the laboratory, allowing both instruments to operate using one computer. Installation will be considered complete upon successful QC run completion, and technical support must be available from 8 am to 5 pm EST with on-site service required within 5 working days of reported issues.

Pricing is to remain firm for the entire length of the contract, with payment to be made via EFT. The contractor must provide toll-free numbers for customer service and technical support, maintain recommended manufacturer maintenance schedules, and handle delivery to 1615 S. Harrison Rd., East Lansing, MI 48823. The procurement specifically excludes alternate brands or manufacturers, as this equipment must align with FERN's standardized pathogen screening platform used across state Agriculture laboratories for food emergency response testing.
