About this file
This file is a product specification document for a state and local contract opportunity in Maine related to the procurement of compact auto-hydrostatic life preservers designed for tactical use. The specification calls for auto-inflating personal flotation devices (PFDs) with manual backup capabilities that are specifically engineered to integrate with tactical vests and body armor utilizing webbing systems. The vests must feature a low-profile design to minimize bulk and interference with body armor, include the ability to attach belt extenders, and maintain compatibility with a selected PFD model referenced in Commodity Line 1. All units must meet United States Coast Guard (USCG) requirements and comply with applicable federal standards for maritime safety equipment.
The specification does not explicitly detail pricing terms, quantities, delivery schedules, or award timelines within the provided document. Vendors are required to submit any technical questions or clarifications through the designated Question and Answer portal on the Solicitation Details View page, with responses visible only to vendors who log in to monitor the portal. Questions submitted through alternative channels will not be considered valid for the solicitation. The document includes references to supporting images that provide additional technical or visual specifications for the requested equipment.
