About this file

This document is a collection of vendor questions and answers related to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Revenue to secure competitive bids from qualified vendors to prep and paint the interior of the Child Support Service Center North Tower 1st Floor (4,520 sq ft) and 9th Floor (7,372 sq ft), for a total of 11,892 sq ft located in Orlando, Florida. The ITB specifies that the term of the services shall be from the date of issuance of a Purchase Order, and the contractor will complete all tasks within 5 weeks from the order start date. The site visit is a mandatory responsive requirement for bidders, and the bidder acknowledgement form is included as the first page of the ITB.

The document provides responses to vendor questions regarding project specifics such as timeline, work hours, holiday access, background checks, wall repairs, furniture/equipment handling, and painting scope. It clarifies that the square footage provided is the floor area, not the actual wall surface area to be painted. The vendor is responsible for removing and replacing all furniture, wall fixtures, and blinds to access the walls for painting.
