About this file
This document contains the Special Provisions for automobile, truck and equipment bid invitations issued by the Wyoming Department of Administration & Information. The provisions outline requirements for vendors supplying automotive equipment to various Wyoming departments, including delivery specifications, documentation requirements, and warranty terms. All vehicles must be delivered fully assembled, serviced and ready to operate, with required documentation including Wyoming Certificate of Title, itemized invoices, window stickers, and owner/operator manuals.
Pricing and submission requirements specify that all bids must be submitted electronically through Public Purchase, with complete documentation including descriptive literature, signed authorizations, and acknowledgment of addenda. The state allows cooperative purchasing by other state agencies and political subdivisions at the same terms and prices. Trade-ins may occasionally be considered but are not generally listed on bid forms. Manufacturers must have authorized service dealers in Wyoming capable of performing warranty repairs and recalls. The provisions emphasize that dealers must be properly licensed and franchised in Wyoming to sell specific vehicle types, and non-responsive bids may be rejected if they fail to meet all submission requirements.
