About this file
This document outlines the Vehicle Purchase Specific Terms and Conditions for a state contract opportunity. The key requirements include that bidders must be licensed motor vehicle dealers in the state where the selling location is based, and all vehicles must be new and meet applicable federal, state, and OSHA safety requirements. The inspection, service preparation, and delivery of vehicles are the responsibility of the dealer, who must also address any manufacturer recalls prior to delivery. The contract allows for equivalent products to be accepted at the customer's discretion.
The document further specifies the Customer's acceptance process, which involves thoroughly inspecting each vehicle and comparing it to the purchase order and manufacturer documentation. Delivery of a vehicle does not constitute acceptance, and payment may be withheld until any discrepancies are resolved. Specific documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, and manufacturer information, must be provided with each vehicle delivery. Any dealer-installed accessories must be disclosed and approved by the Customer prior to installation.
