Description:

This requirement is for a Static Aircraft Paint/Repair. The 89th Airlift Wing requires that the static display aircraft, VC-140, located in

Joint Base Andrews be painted and repaired in accordance with the SOW (See Attachment 1) and applicable technical manuals (See

Attachment 2).

Service Required:

• Sand Aircraft Surface

• Repair Corrosion

• Repainted using high-quality, glossy, automotive two-part polyurethane

• Restoration of all existing decals using painted reapplication

• Windows blacked out with black gloss paint

FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. As prescribed in FAR 12.301(b)(1), the following addendum is provided for this solicitation and hereby amends any language therein:

1. Quotes in response to this solicitation must be submitted via email to the POCs and Contracting Officer listed above no later than the established deadline.

2. Please provide quote using the Pricing Matrix (Attachment 3)

3. In order to demonstrate technical acceptability, please provide a capabilities statement highlighting any relevant experience with painting static displays or providing related services that demonstrates ability to perform the tasks as outlined in the

Statement of Work (See Attachment 1) and are in accordance with the Tech Manual (See Attachment 2).

4. Quotes must be valid for 30 days.

FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. As prescribed in FAR 12.301(c), the following addendum is provided for this solicitation and hereby amends any language therein:

(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:
