About this file

This document is an electrical engineering drawing set for a US Treasury facility project involving the replacement of CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units in Vaults #4 and #5 located at Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. The project, identified as SRBR No. 25111-45 with a pricing set date of June 26, 2026, was prepared by SRBR MEP Consulting Engineers (licensed in Washington DC, PE #905594, expiring August 31, 2026).

The electrical work encompasses power distribution modifications, disconnection and removal of existing CRAC units, and installation of new CRAC units with associated electrical infrastructure. Key work includes providing new power circuits sized per equipment nameplates, installing new fuses, coordinating demolition sequencing to maintain continuous cooling during replacement, and adjusting existing disconnects to accommodate new unit locations. The electrical specifications detail requirements for wiring methods per code, dedicated neutral conductors for receptacle and lighting circuits, conductor sizing per code with voltage drop adjustments, and coordination with the US Department of Treasury Project Manager for approval. The drawings illustrate the vault electric room layout, vault 9 electrical plan showing CRAC unit locations (including units 5A, 5B, and 9-1A), electrical panels (EMENC-0, EMENC-0A, MENC-0, ELPNC-0), disconnects for various vaults, and a power distribution diagram showing connections from main switchboards (SWBNC-0 and EMBNC-0) at 277/480V, 3-phase, 4-wire configuration to the CRAC units and associated equipment.
