About this file
This document is a Cost Proposal Form for RFP #UU198692437 issued by the Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU) at the University of Utah, seeking a vendor to replace gel floor tiles in the Great Salt Lake Gallery. The project involves fabricating and installing customized specialty flooring, with vendors required to submit comprehensive proposals addressing project management, manufacturing, and delivery of tiles within an established budget of $50,000.00.
The cost proposal form indicates that the award will be made to the vendor receiving the highest technical proposal score while remaining within the budget constraints. Proposals exceeding the $50,000 budget will be automatically disqualified. Vendors are encouraged to provide a detailed cost breakdown and focus on delivering goods and services that meet the project requirements comprehensively, rather than simply proposing the lowest possible cost. The procurement process emphasizes technical merit and budgetary alignment as key selection criteria.

NHMU has established a budget of $50,000.00 for the entire project. Responses should discuss goods/services to be provided within the available budget, rather than attempting to achieve the stated goals at the lowest possible cost.
Any proposal received where the cost exceeds the budget will not be considered/evaluated/awarded. The intended award resulting from this RFP will be extended to the Vendor receiving the highest technical proposal point score without exceeding the budget.
