• USCIS is aligned with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 19.101(a): “provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisitions to small business and other small business socioeconomic categories”.
• While RFO 19.111-2 makes clear that the decision to set aside orders placed under multiple-award contracts (GSA FSS & IDC) is at the CO’s discretion, USCIS continues to carefully consider and to utilize small business and specific socioeconomic set-asides where determined appropriate.

Description: USCIS has a requirement for Enterprise Gateway and Integration Services (EGIS) III. Historically, EGIS has served as the enterprise integration backbone connecting USCIS internal systems with Department of Homeland Security (DHS), interagency, and external partners. While this core mission remains critical, EGIS will also expand this role supporting national security, immigration system integrity and advanced adjudication operations with key mission including: National security vetting and evolving immigration policies; screening immigration benefit applicants; protecting immigration benefits and work authorization integrity; advanced data integration, analytics, AI-enabled anomaly detection, and decision support; agility, rapid delivery, operational excellence, transparency, and reduced duplication; fraud detection, risk scoring, and investigative data workflows. An RFI was posted on SAM.gov in March 2026. As of July 2026 we are in the acquisition planning phase of this acquisition, as such, some of the APFS fields may change over the coming months. The APFS record will continually be updated once changes to the strategy are known.

Description: USCIS has a requirement for Information Assurance Security Services(IASS). As USCIS integrates artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) and other emerging technologies into our operations, it is imperative to elevate our cyber vigilance. This means ensuring systems are not only resilient to adversarial attacks but also uphold ethical standards that reflect organizational values and societal expectations. The Information Security Division (ISD) seeks a next generation of ISSOs to lead the charge. The IASS resources will continue to perform the day-to-day implementation and validation of IT Security requirements, including ensuring the protection of our systems, data, and environment from malicious users, and to support continuous monitoring activities.
These specialized ISSOs are critical to maintaining the security of our systems, assets, and data to avoid or minimize the impact of events.
