1.0. Organization.

AFLCMC/WBZ

1.1. Agency Mission.

The B-2 Weapon System Support Center (WSSC) is a center for on-aircraft software development and support, as well the logistics and engineering support center for the B-2 System Program Office. In order to support the activities within the WSSC, commercial uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices are utilized to provide clean, continuous power to the computer equipment in the facility.

1.2. Description of Services.

The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, local travel, transportation, and incidentals to provide technical support defined by this PWS to be performed at Tinker AFB, OK. Support shall be required during, but not limited to, normal business hours (0730-1630) Monday through Friday or as specified by Contracting Officer (CO).

1.3. Project Background and Objectives.

The B-2 System Program Office is responsible for maintaining a number of information technology (IT) data systems and networks in support of the B-2 Weapon System. It has been the experience of the B-2 System Program Office that UPS runtime is critical to continued and stable laboratory system operations, and that two (2) 93PM UPS units currently require additional backup runtime.

Therefore, this effort shall include the following objectives:

1. Replace eighty (80) existing E54 / 540W (Eaton: PWHR12540W4FR) batteries housed within the two

(2) existing battery cabinets (40 batteries per cabinet).

2. Procure and install two (2) new Eaton 93PM Battery Cabinets (Eaton: IBC-LW). Each new cabinet shall come equipped from the factory with forty (40) E54 / 540W (Eaton: PWHR12540W4FR) batteries (80 batteries total for the new cabinets).

3. Connect all wiring from newly installed Battery Cabinets (Eaton: IBC-LW) to existing 93PM UPS units in accordance with manufacturer.

• 1 Cabinet – Placed directly beside existing cabinet/UPS unit

• 1 Cabinet – Approximately 30 feet away. Will require the use of conduit running up and into suspended ceiling, and then back down to existing UPS unit.

4. Provide Eaton Customer Service Engineer (CSE) on-site for shutdown prior to installation.

5. Provide Eaton Customer Service Engineer (CSE) on-site start-up and 93PM reconfiguration after installation.

6. Battery Replacement to include delivery, installation, removal and disposal of old batteries.

8. Fully loaded battery cabinets exceed the load rating of raised flooring that must be traversed from delivery/staging area to final installation point. The Contractor shall remove the batteries from the cabinets at the concrete staging area prior to moving the empty cabinets across the raised laboratory flooring to the final installation point.

1.4. Task Description.

The contractor shall provide services in order to achieve the objectives for the B-2 program listed above. All new cabinets, replacement batteries, and materials shall be genuine Eaton OEM components. Furthermore, the contractor must have verifiable, authorized access to the OEM's proprietary service software, authorized diagnostic hardware (e.g., Eaton service laptops), and restricted OEM firmware repositories required to integrate the new battery cabinets with the existing 93PM UPS systems without voiding the manufacturer warranty.
