About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes related to repair, spares, and sustaining engineering services for corporate contract support. The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is seeking to identify potential sources capable of repairing and procuring line replaceable units (LRUs) and shop replaceable units (SRUs) that are currently installed on multiple platforms. The Government is conducting this market research to assess the expertise, capabilities, and experience of potential contractors who could eventually compete for a 10-year contract extending through 2036. Raytheon Company currently serves as the prime contractor for these requirements and owns the technical data necessary for repairs and spares production.

Interested parties must demonstrate past experience repairing the specified systems and subsystems and possess the capability to access pertinent technical data for spares production, repairs, technical support, and contract program management. Respondents must be capable of providing repair and parts for the designated LRUs and SRUs and returning them to the Government or designated inventory in serviceable conditions that meet or exceed manufacturer specifications. The RFI submission requirements are detailed in Part II of the document. This pre-solicitation opportunity represents the Government's acquisition strategy to identify qualified repair and procurement sources prior to formal competition.
