DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS
1. OBJECTIVE
KIPP Metro Atlanta Collaborative, Inc (a.k.a. “KIPP” or “KIPP Atlanta Schools”), a not-for-profit public charter school organization, (hereinafter referred to as “KIPP”) with an organization (hereinafter referred to as "Supplier"), to provide an impact study on the impact of KIPP schools on K-12 outcomes and an analysis of KIPP alumni college outcomes considering longevity of KIPP enrollment.
2. SCOPE
KIPP Atlanta Schools is 22 years old and has served tens of thousands of students during that time.
While we have a ton of data at our fingertips and often are able to tell the impact story with our student performance data, we would like to tell a more holistic and robust story of the impact of attending KIPP for our students and families. National studies have been done on the network-wide impact of attending KIPP schools, and we would like to articulate a similar data narrative for our specific, local impact in metro Atlanta. We are looking for a research partner to help us use publicly available data and de-identified data from partner district(s) to determine the KIPP ATL impact and create a report that will allow us to tell that story.
3. CURRENT STATUS
KIPP Atlanta Schools (“KIPP”) is part of a national non-profit network of public charter schools educating early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school scholars. KIPP Atlanta Schools is a network of free, public charter schools and a partner school located in Atlanta and East Point. At KIPP, we believe every child should grow up free to create the future they want for themselves and their communities. We were founded in 2003 and currently educate more than 5,500 across 11 schools in metro Atlanta. We have over 1000 alumni in the KIPP Forward program. We have approximately 750 employees.
