About this file

This document is an Agricultural/Wildlife & Habitat Land Lease from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for the Union County S.F.W.A. 24AL2397 property. It provides a detailed cropping plan for the 266.30 total leased acres from 2024 through 2027, including corn, soybean, and cover crop rotations. The lease requires adherence to specific actions, such as not using neonicotinoid treated soybean seed, prohibiting the use of Dicamba herbicide, and leaving 12 rows of unharvested standing corn along the field edges and center. Additionally, the IDNR may require the lessee to leave all or a portion of the crops standing without harvest, with rent paid to the IDNR if the lessee fails to comply.

The lease payment terms are not provided in this document. However, it notes that non-adherence to the cropping plan instructions may result in termination of the farm lease.
