This document is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for catering services for the National Defense University's International Student Management Office (ISMO) Graduation Dinner. The solicitation, issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command, seeks a small business contractor to provide high-level catering services for an evening event in the first week of June, with two additional option periods in 2026 and 2027. The event will host 400 seated guests and requires a venue within 10 miles of Fort Lesley J. McNair in the DC metro area, with specific requirements for event space, catering, audio-visual equipment, and menu options.
The RFQ includes a target price of $200,000 and will be awarded using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method. The solicitation is set aside exclusively for small businesses and will be conducted through a reverse auction on the Unison Marketplace platform. Bidders must submit a price quote, capability statement, technical approach, and proposed menu. Key performance requirements include providing a formal event space, catered food with vegetarian/halal options, table settings, audio-visual equipment, and adhering to specific dietary and sustainability guidelines. The response deadline is March 12, 2025, with an anticipated event date in early June 2025.
