About this file

This document outlines the specifications for a forklift to be procured by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for the Umatilla Hatchery located in Irrigon, Oregon. The forklift must be gasoline or diesel powered with an automatic transmission and pneumatic tires. It must have a 3-stage mast with a minimum fork height of 144 inches, a lifting capacity of 5,000 pounds, and 48-inch Class II or similar forks. Additional requirements include a side shifting fork positioner, front and rear working LED lights, a steering wheel with knob, back up alarm, mirrors, seatbelt, and roll cage. ODFW prefers the forklift to be delivered and serviced within 75 miles of the Umatilla Hatchery, with a mileage adjustment added to bids beyond that radius.
