About this file

This is a Bidders Guide for the Trimble ID adoption process used by the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) for the Commercial Truck Driving Center project at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. The guide provides instructions for bidders to access the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal using the new Trimble ID (TID) authentication system. Existing bidders must migrate to Trimble ID accounts using their professional email addresses, with automatic account linking available for those using the same email address previously used in the Bid Portal. New and existing invited bidders can access private bid invitations or public bids through the portal by creating or signing into a Trimble ID account. The project scope includes constructing a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) range, installing a pre-manufactured shade structure, and providing site lighting for both the range and shade structure. GSFIC will use the e-Builder Project Management system to receive, review, and store all contractor bids and supporting documentation.

The guide eliminates the previous requirement to re-enter passwords during bid submission, instead implementing a streamlined verification process where bidders confirm their intent by entering the highlighted total bid value into a confirmation box. Bidders must use the exact email address associated with their bidding account or invitation to ensure proper account linking and access to bidding history. The Trimble ID system enhances security through Two-Step Verification (2SV) and provides support resources including account management options at myprofile.trimble.com and troubleshooting assistance for common issues such as verification code delays, account lockouts, and missing bid records. No specific pricing terms, award dates, contract duration, or other financial information is provided in this bidders guide document.

Bidders Guide Trimble ID (TID) adoption

Overview Trimble is upgrading the Unity Construct Bid Portal to Trimble ID (TID). This change enhances security with Two-Step Verification (2SV) and provides a single, secure login for all Trimble cloud services.

New and existing invited bidders will require a Trimble ID account to access the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal.

Key Changes at a Glance:

● No More Usernames: You will now sign in using your professional email address.

● Self-Service Access: Unlike other Unity Construct modules, you do not need to wait for an invitation email to migrate. You can simply go to the portal and create or use an existing Trimble ID at any time.

● Account Linking: If you use the same email address previously used for the Bid Portal, your bidding history and active packages will link automatically.

● Secure Submission: When submitting a bid, you no longer need to re-enter a password. Instead, you will confirm your bid by entering the highlighted bid value.
