About this file
These are industry day slides for the Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TReX II) Next Generation Constructive (NGC) program, detailing a Request for Solutions (RFS) 25-04 for advanced synthetic training environment software. The solicitation targets innovative development of a large-scale synthetic training capability for the U.S. Army, with key milestones including a March 14, 2025 RFS posting, an April 3, 2025 industry day, and a April 16, 2025 solicitation close date. The program aims to accelerate development of constructive training environments with planned enhancements in cloud scalability, unmanned air systems intelligence integration, fires/counterfires, and cyber effects.
The slides outline a complex acquisition strategy involving multiple stages: industry partner engagement, technical evaluations, demonstrations from May 7-21, 2025, negotiations through June 27, 2025, and a potential contract award in August 2025. The effort is specifically focused on developing Next Generation Constructive (NGC) capabilities spanning warfighting functions like movement, fires, intelligence, electronic warfare, sustainment, and exercise control. Interested parties must be members of the TReX II Consortium and submit responses through the BAA Information Delivery System (BIDS), with technical questions due by April 9, 2025 at 12:00 PM ET.

Chief of Staff of the Army’s (CSA) acceleration effort will provide an NGC Corps low overhead capability. Areas of planned enhancements are comprised of Synthetic Training Environment scalability(cloud), Unmanned Air Systems intelligence model integration, fires/counterfires, and cyber effects.
Corps commanders will be able to conduct Command Post Exercises (CPX) and Warfighter Exercises (WFX) with sufficient fidelity, accuracy, and Command and Control (C2) stimulation meeting training objectives, while minimizing overhead.
NGC is a large-scale synthetic training capability provided in an operational simulated environment enabling mission rehearsal and collective training at echelons Brigade through ASCC. NGC will iteratively develop, test, and deliver prototype capability through agile software development
