SUBJECT: Market Research Questionnaire for Tree Trimming/Removal and Miscellaneous

Services.

MARKET RESEARCH DOCUMENT NUMBER: FA5270-25-Q-A019, Presolicitation

A. We are conducting market research to determine the customary commercial practice for Tree trimming, Removal and Miscellaneous Services. The results of this research will not only help us determine if the services are commercial in nature, but also if the services offered in the marketplace will meet our agency requirements.

B. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The requirement involves providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to respond as set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must be authorized to work in Japan.

By referring to description of the requirement, please check an appropriate answer to each question. Additional comments should be included as an attachment to this questionnaire.

24. Explain your service call system, differentiating between routine, urgent, and emergency calls, and identify response times.

25. How often do you perform quality control inspections to ensure service is acceptable? What does the inspection entail?

26. How is performance measured in your Tree Trimming/Removal service contracts?

27. What corrective action is taken if the work is unacceptable?

28. How do you allow for changes in workload?

29. Who determines the delivery schedule?

30. Who supplies the parts/materials?

31. How is payment made (at the time of consumption or when work is completed?
