About this file
This specification sheet outlines tree tag requirements for the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Citrus Division under contract opportunity P26-0219. The CDFA is requesting quotes for Tyvek material tree tags in three colors to support compliance with California Code of Regulations and Federal Domestic Quarantine requirements for citrus greening and Asian Citrus Psyllid. The order comprises 1,800,000 total tags across three categories: 1,250,000 sequentially numbered blue tags (5,500,001-6,750,000) for Asian Citrus Psyllid Nursery Regional Quarantine Zone 2; 400,000 sequentially numbered yellow tags (4,750,001-5,150,000) for Zone 3; and 150,000 sequentially numbered orange tags (50,001-200,000) for sweet orange scab quarantine areas. Each tag measures 10 inches by 1 inch and must be printed front and back with the CDFA logo and bilingual text in Times New Roman font, with English on one side and Spanish on the reverse. All tags must include QR codes and barcodes on both sides. The tags must be delivered within 30 days of contract confirmation to three CDFA locations in Sacramento, Visalia, and Cerritos, California, with specific quantities designated for each site.
The specification sheet does not contain pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, or funding source information. Design proofs are required before purchase order execution. The delivery timeline of 30 days from contract confirmation represents the primary time-sensitive requirement for this procurement.
