About this file
This Technical Requirements Document outlines the acquisition of a Leica BLK2GO handheld 3D laser scanning system, dated April 10, 2025. The comprehensive requirements include one BLK2GO 3D Imaging Laser Scanner, a mission bag for transportation, a permanent license for Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS software, a one-year Customer Care Package, and two days of specialized onsite training. Critical elements include clarifying zero-cost line items, investigating custom support details, and specifying warranty periods for hardware and software.
Key technical specifications mandate the scanner meet manufacturer's accuracy, range, and data capture speed standards, with software capabilities for point cloud registration, processing, and analysis. The document requires export compatibility to common 3D model formats, one year of basic hardware Customer Care Package, and training covering data acquisition, processing, and analysis. Acceptance criteria stipulate that all hardware and software must be new, in working condition, with valid and transferable software licenses, and training conducted by qualified instructors.

Technical Requirements Document
Project Title: BLK2GO Handheld LiDAR - e.g., 3D Laser Scanning System Acquisition]
Date: April 10, 2025
1. Introduction
This document outlines the technical requirements for the acquisition of a 3D laser scanning system, including hardware, software, support, and training. The system will be used for [state the intended purpose of the system, e.g., creating accurate 3D models of buildings, documenting construction progress, etc.].
2. Hardware Requirements
2.1 BLK2GO 3D Imaging Laser Scanner (LGM.P.875578.10.66.CX): One (1) unit of the Leica BLK2GO handheld imaging laser scanner is required. The device must meet or exceed the manufacturer's published specifications for accuracy, range, and data capture speed. It should include all standard accessories.
2.2 GVP735, BLK Mission Bag (LGS.P.879639.10.66.CX): One (1) carrying case/mission bag suitable for transporting the BLK2GO scanner and accessories is required.
3. Software Requirements
3.1 Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS Permanent Software
(LGM.P.979836.20.66.CD): One (1) permanent license of Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS software is required. The software must be compatible with the BLK2GO scanner and provide functionality for point cloud registration, processing, and analysis. It must support export to common 3D model formats (e.g., .e57, .las, .rcp).
3.2 Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS CCP (LGM.M.6018134): One (1) year of Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS Customer Care Package (CCP) is required. Clarify the specific services included in the CCP (e.g., technical support, software updates).
3.3 Software Updates (LGM.M.5311715.11.66.CD) & Support
(LGM.M.5311721.60.66.CD): CRITICAL: Determine if updates and support beyond the initial year are required. If so, specify the duration and service level agreements (SLAs) for these items. If these are truly zero-cost, explicitly state that in the document.
4. Support and Maintenance Requirements
4.1 BLK2GO Laser Scanner CCP Basic (LGM.M.6015965): One (1) year of basic Customer Care Package (CCP) for the BLK2GO hardware is required. Specify the services included (e.g., warranty, technical support).
4.2 BLK2GO Laser Scanner Custom Support
(LGM.M.5310228.60.66.CX): CRITICAL: Investigate and clearly define the scope of "custom support." If required, specify the type of support, response times, and other relevant details. If truly no-cost, explicitly state that.
5. Training Requirements
5.1 Specialized Onsite Training (LGM.S.5309864.60.66.JL): Two (2) days of specialized onsite training on the use of the BLK2GO scanner and Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS software are required. The training should cover topics such as data acquisition, processing, and analysis. Specify the number of personnel to be trained.
6. Delivery and Freight Requirements
All hardware and software must be delivered to [Specify delivery location].
Freight costs (FRTMGS) must be included in the total cost.
7. Acceptance Criteria
All hardware and software must be new and in working condition.
All software licenses must be valid and transferable.
Training must be conducted by qualified instructors.
8. Warranty
Specify warranty periods for both hardware and software.
This Technical Requirements Document serves as a guide for vendors to provide accurate quotes and ensure the proposed solution meets the project's needs. All zero-cost line items must be clarified and justified. Remember to tailor the bracketed ([...]) information to your specific project.
