About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a Request for Information from the United States Transportation Command for document conversion services. USTRANSCOM seeks sources to convert various legacy document formats, including low-resolution PDFs and older versions of Microsoft Word documents, to current Word format using provided templates. The documents involve unclassified employee position descriptions. Respondents should describe their ability to accurately reformat approximately 200 documents containing some handwritten text totaling 5-10 pages each from scanned and digital files while maintaining legibility. Conversion accuracy of 98% or greater is required, with content accuracy being the top priority over formatting. File types include Word, text-only PDFs, and image-only PDFs from scanned and electronic sources. All documents are in English and 98% readable. This RFI response will help inform an upcoming solicitation for document conversion and preparation services to support USTRANSCOM personnel functions.
