This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a "Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp" to be delivered at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The SOW outlines the requirements for the training, which must provide Hanscom personnel with a variety of practical and interactive training techniques to enhance participant engagement and learning. The training must leverage best practices in adult learning, provide a framework to apply existing curricula, emphasize assessment outcomes, and support participation-centered methodologies across disciplines. The training will be an in-person, instructor-led course over two consecutive days, accommodating up to 20 participants. The SOW details the specific objectives and scope of the training, including topics such as comparing classroom and webinar formats, integrating interactive elements, and creating engaging training materials. Statement of Work Bob Pike Group’s “Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp” Military & Family Readiness Center, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731
1. Scope:
Hanscom Air Force Base community members must stay to the left to effectively enforce prevention efforts to reduce interpersonal and self-directed acts of violence. In order to achieve this goal, installation personnel requires a new set of skills for trainers to maximize participant retention and engagement. The Integrated Prevention & Resilience Office, Hanscom Helping Agencies, volunteers, and Hanscom installation personnel require a “train the trainer” resource that will provide instructors with a quantity and variety of training tools and techniques to implement educational programming both in-person and virtually, without a decline in impact or learner engagement and which dovetails with the adult training methods already provided in 2020 that focused exclusively on virtual training environments.
2. Requirements:
The Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp must be relevant and usable for the trainers and permit application to the specific content and audience, as well as provide a variety of practical and creative training techniques that have ease of application and positive impact on participants. The workshop enables the participant to update/revise training curricula using interactive techniques and strategies. The training will be an in-person, instructor-led course at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. Training methodology must 1) leverage best practices in adult learning to maximize understanding; 2) provide a framework and process to apply existing curricula and evidence-based content enabling the creation and facilitation of engaging learning experiences; 3) emphasize outcomes of the assessment to meet goals and support audience needs and leaning types; and 4) provide resources to implement and sustain participation-centered training methodology across disciplines, agencies, and time. Immediate application of these techniques is critical to support resilience and violence prevention training, soft skills/foundation training, and other already established curricula presented by helping agencies.
3. Scope/Objectives: The workshop will meet the following objectives.
3.1 Provide similarities and differences of a classroom vs. webinar
