About this file

This Statement of Work details traffic signal repair requirements at two 4-way intersections, with photos showing the existing traffic control cabinets and intersection locations at what appears to be Holloman Air Force Base. The work involves replacing outdated traffic light control systems with new NEMA TS-2 compliant cabinets and equipment.

The contractor must remove and dispose of existing traffic control cabinets, wiring, cameras, and mounting brackets at both intersections. New requirements include: installing NEMA TS-2 cabinets on existing concrete pads, running new wiring through existing conduits to signal heads and pedestrian buttons, installing 360° monitoring cameras at each intersection, and providing UPS systems with 2-hour backup power. The contractor must submit a traffic control plan, provide 10-day notice before work begins, program the timing sequences in coordination with the CE Electric Shop, and train CE Electric Shop personnel on system operations. The aerial photos show the intersection of Arizona Street and First Street/Patrol Squadron, with traffic cabinet locations marked by blue circles.
