Town_of_Manchester_2025_Holiday_Calendar.pdf

The document is an official 2025 Holiday Calendar issued by the Human Resources Department of the Town of Manchester, Connecticut. The calendar lists 14 holidays during which town offices will be closed, including standard federal and state holidays such as New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. A notable feature is the provision for a floating holiday in lieu of Lincoln's Birthday, which the town can substitute at its discretion, provided notification is given by December 31st of the preceding year.

The holiday calendar is supplementary to the Town of Manchester's ongoing municipal operations and appears related to a concurrent solicitation for On-Call Materials Testing Services (Bid No. 24/25-40). While the holiday schedule does not directly impact the materials testing services procurement, it provides important information about municipal operational days that may be relevant to potential contractors and service providers when planning project timelines and coordination. The floating holiday option demonstrates the town's administrative flexibility in managing seasonal workforce scheduling.
