About this file
This is a Termite New Bond Specification template for the Greene County Department of Human Resources (DHR) located at 36 Park Street, Eutaw, Alabama. The specification outlines requirements for new termite bond annual coverage using the Sentricon Termite Bait System with Always Active Technology for one year, with protection against ground-borne Native Eastern Subterranean termites and Formosan termites. The contract includes initial installation of Sentricon termite stations, first-year inspection and station monitoring, ongoing monitoring and baiting, and automatic renewal coverage if specification requirements are maintained. A mandatory site visit was required for the initial specification document, scheduled for Thursday, August 27th at 11:00 A.M., with attendance and facility tour sign-off by the primary point of contact, Yolanda Young, being mandatory for supplier participation. However, a subsequent Round 2 Request for Quote issued for Annual New Termite Bond Services FY27 notes that site visits are not required for renewal bidding. The contract term includes the initial year plus renewable coverage on a year-to-year basis following a fixed-price period for minimum of three years.
Pricing for Line 1 represents the total all-inclusive bond costs for the initial year, including new bond coverage, first-year inspection, repair and retreatment coverage, and replacement coverage. Line 2 represents the annual renewal fee, for which vendors must enter $0.00 during initial bidding with manual quotes to be obtained from the awarded supplier for years two and thereafter. Payment terms are Net 30 in arrears following completion of service with no invoicing prior to service completion and no proration of fees if service is cancelled. The supplier must maintain all necessary insurance coverage while DHR maintains property damage coverage. Cancellation is permitted after the first year for reasons including property sale or ownership change, failure to fulfill obligations by either party, natural disasters substantially altering treatment effectiveness, or if the vendor ceases to be an authorized Sentricon System operator. Either party may provide written notice of cancellation with 30 days' minimum notice prior to the next renewal date. Renewal pricing adjustments after the third year require written justification and supplier documentation, with approval required from DHR, and any justified price reductions during the current year must be passed to DHR at the renewal period.
