About this file

This file is a comprehensive set of contract documents for Rockdale County, Georgia, specifically for the Gees Mill Water Treatment Plant Ozone Generator Replacement project, prepared by Engineering Strategies, Inc. The project involves replacing the existing ozone generation system with a new Primozone GM48 ozone generator capable of producing 150 pounds per day at 10% by weight. The scope includes furnishing and delivering an oxygen filtration manifold, oxygen regulation manifold, LOX booster system, ozone generation system, master ozone control panel, and associated spare parts. The project is scheduled for implementation in March 2025, with equipment delivery expected 18-20 weeks after engineering submittal approval, and will require pre-startup inspection, startup, commissioning, and operator training services.

The total project budget includes an $865,000 allowance for the ozone generator and manufacturer services, as well as a $25,000 allowance for replacing ferrous metals in the chilled water circulation system. The equipment will be supplied by Pureflow Ozone Division of California Environmental Controls, Inc., with the Primozone system designed to meet specific performance requirements for pre-oxidation and disinfection of raw water. The system is engineered to operate within design parameters including site elevation between 700-1,000 feet, ambient temperatures from -20°F to 110°F, and raw water temperatures between 38°F and 78°F. The contract includes a comprehensive warranty period of 18 months from shipment or 12 months from customer buy-off, whichever occurs first, and requires the Ozone System Supplier to provide full system commissioning and training services.
