About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for supplying footing materials and constructing block foundations for three modular training venues at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Glynco, GA. The project involves providing specific materials for 28' x 56' Cherry Blossom modular homes by Clayton Venues, including concrete (3000 PSI, 14 cubic yards per home), reinforcing steel (5/8-inch, Grade 60), split-face blocks, corner blocks, mortar, sand, anchor bolts, and sill plate materials. The contractor must deliver and stage all materials at Track 2, FLETC Glynco Campus, coordinate with government personnel, and ensure materials meet ASTM and American Concrete Institute standards.
The contractor's responsibilities include delivering pre-cut and bundled rebar, constructing block foundations above government-built footings, installing anchor bolts, and ensuring proper alignment and placement. The government will construct concrete footings and install insulation and sill plates. Key specifications include 504 split-face blocks and 16 corner blocks per home, Type S mortar, anchor bolts installed every 48 inches, and pressure-treated lumber. Final acceptance is contingent upon proper material delivery, foundation construction, anchor bolt installation, and passing government inspection, with all work to be completed before modular home delivery.
