About this file
This is a Request for Quote issued by Collier County, Florida for roof and hatch replacement services at two well house locations. The project involves the removal and replacement of two complete roofs and roof hatches located at 841 7th Street SW (TAM#1) and 851 3rd Street SW (TAM#3). The scope includes replacement of all fascia boards, installation of new roof hatches designed to allow access for pump and motor removal and maintenance, protective covering of interior equipment and electrical cabinets during construction, painting of interior ceilings and exterior fascia, and complete debris disposal including removal of old roofing materials and hatches. A site visit is recommended but not mandatory for contractors to review the existing conditions prior to quote submission. The contractor must provide project manager contact information within five business days of purchase order issuance and is allotted 365 days to achieve final completion from the purchase order date, with the extended timeline accounting for potential long lead times on hatch procurement. The county will provide site access assistance, material review, and inspection services during installation.
The county requests a lump sum quote covering all personnel, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the outlined work. Collier County Project Manager Anthony Lupo (239) 207-0248 is the primary contact for the project. Contractors must submit shop drawings for the selected hatch after purchase order issuance but before hatch ordering, and must provide paint samples for county approval prior to paint procurement. The county will supply the paint colors. Collier County procurement policy prohibits acceptance of quotes containing terms and conditions other than those specified in the request. No specific budget amount, award date, or set-aside information is provided in the documentation.
