About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a NASA procurement of SciGlob Instrumentation to integrate several NASA-owned spectrometers into a robotic optical pointing mechanism. The key requirements include:
-
Modifying and machining enclosures and other support accessories such as an optical alignment fixture, modification of the cold plate for spectrometers and control electronics, and fabrication of an instrument support frame.
-
Integration of the SciGlob motorized leveling system with 0.01-degree resolution and 360-degree rotation for Azimuth and Zenith.
-
Interfacing the spectrometers and optical pointing systems, including developing user interface requirements, hardware and software interfaces, command and control interfaces, temperature control, data visualization software, and use of only solid-state elements.
-
Completion of development and testing by 9/31/2024.
The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number 80NSSC865268Q for the "SciGlob motorized leveling system, Machining and interfaces" requirement.
