About this file

This document contains specifications for sputter targets required by NASA Glenn Research Center's Smart Sensing and Electronics System branch for aerospace semiconductor applications. The specifications include five platinum targets (99.99% purity, 3-inch diameter, 0.25-inch thick) and one gold target (99.999% purity, 3-inch diameter, 0.25-inch thick), both with no backing plate and requiring a Certificate of Analysis. Additional vendor requirements include sourcing from non-radioactive materials, providing new targets that are not re-sold, offering reclaim estimates for gold (38.0408 troy ounces) and platinum (68.2624 troy ounces), being the actual manufacturer of sputter targets, demonstrating capability in semiconductor device technology, and having prior sales experience with government agencies like NASA.
