About this file
This document is a Bid Amendment for Bid Solicitation #25DPP01150 issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury's Division of Purchase and Property, pertaining to a partial re-bid for meat products for Distribution and Support Services (DSS). The procurement seeks quotes for three specific meat products: emulsified beef minute steaks, beef bologna, and pork roll, with an estimated annual quantity of 13,000 cases of minute steaks, 6,000 cases of beef bologna, and 1,200 cases of pork roll. The contract is designed for a three-year term with potential for up to three one-year extensions. Electronic questions were due by March 7, 2025, with quote submissions scheduled for March 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The bid amendment provides clarifications on submission requirements, including mandatory electronic quote submission through NJSTART, complete attachment of required documents, and full completion of the State-Supplied Price Sheet. A 1% Procurement Efficiency Program fee will apply to all purchases, and vendors must comply with standard state terms including business registration, anti-discrimination requirements, and affirmative action policies. The state reserves the right to make one contract award per price line and potentially invoke Best and Final Offers. Vendors must demonstrate capability to deliver meat products meeting precise specifications and will be evaluated based on qualifications. The procurement indicates this is a partial re-bid of a previous contract (#22DPP00704) for items not previously awarded, with a focus on vendor capability to consistently meet detailed product and delivery requirements.
