About this file
This is a Bid Amendment #1 document issued by the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, addressing Bid Solicitation #27DPP01339 for T1090 Tuna, Chunk Light, Canned, for Distribution and Support Services. The amendment, dated August 12, 2026, provides responses to questions submitted during the electronic question and answer period that concluded on August 7, 2026, and includes revisions to the original bid solicitation. All quotes must be submitted electronically through NJSTART by August 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This is a reprocurement of an expiring contract, and bidders are instructed to review the current contract information available on NJSTART but should not rely on pricing or data from the previous award when preparing their responses. The contract term is three years, with the previous contract awarded to JNS Foods LLC at $50.35 per case for Gold Seas brand tuna packaged in six 66.5-ounce cans per case, expiring in 2027.
Bidders must complete all required fields on the state-supplied price sheet and initial each price line bid. Price adjustments may be considered during the contract term following award, with requests for increases after the first year reviewed by the Division's Pricing Analyst for justification and reasonableness, including non-CPI-based increases. The state will not accept exceptions to the New Jersey Combined Standard Terms and Conditions submitted with quotes; any such exceptions will render the quote non-responsive in its entirety. Bidders are responsible for maintaining current NJSTART vendor profiles, and the Division estimates up to two weeks for processing profile access requests. All quotes must be submitted electronically with all required documents attached, and bidders should verify their submissions prior to the deadline to ensure compliance and responsiveness.
