About this file
The document is a system updates policy document addressing discrepancies between System for Award Management (SAM) representations and agency solicitation requirements. The file notes that certain representations, such as those related to greenhouse gas emissions (52.223-22) and affirmative action compliance (52.222-25), may remain in SAM but will not be considered by contracting officers when making award decisions or enforcing requirements.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for Waste and Recycling Removal Service at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration. The anticipated solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov around August 5, 2025, with quotes due approximately August 19, 2025. The contract is planned as a single, firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) award, requiring the contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for scheduled and on-call waste and recycling disposal services.
