About this file

This is a Sole Source Procurement Synopsis for maintenance services on a Hitachi SU7000 system. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane is issuing solicitation N00164-27-Q-0004 with an issue date of 08 OCT 2026 and closing date of 15 OCT 2026 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. The Government intends to sole source this requirement to Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc., located at 1375 N 28th Ave, Dallas, TX 75261-5012, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The justification for sole sourcing is that Hitachi maintains an active inventory of parts and possesses proprietary information necessary for system repair. The contract falls under FSG J066 with NAICS code 811210.

All responsible sources may submit capability statements for Government consideration, though the final determination to conduct a competitive procurement remains solely within Government discretion. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission. Offers should be emailed to Christina.l.staggs.civ@us.navy.mil with all required information received by the 15 OCT 2026 closing deadline. Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring https://sam.gov/ for any amendments issued prior to closing; amendments issued after the closing date will only be provided to offerors who submitted quotes and may be considered for future discussions or award.

ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for Maintenance of the Hitachi SU7000

The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. 1375 N 28th Ave, Dallas, TX 75261-5012, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1.
