Pre-Solicitation Notice: Contracting Operations Central, LAKEWOOD Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), The National Park Service (NPS) Team, intends to issue solicitation for purchase and delivery of propane.
Solicitation No.: 140P1226Q0032
Location: Bryce Canyon National Park
This acquisition will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13).
This solicitation is expected to result in a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) not to exceed 5 years.
The NPS intends to award a firm-fixed price, Blanket Purchase Agreement in response to the Request for Quote (RFQ). The BPA period is five (5) years contingent on date of award. Primary payment will be Visa Government Purchase Card (GPC) payment and secondary payment will be a Delivery Order for each individual call made against BPA. The Government estimated start July 1, 2026, ending June 30, 2031. Invoicing will be submitted electronically through an authorized GPC Holder or via www.IPP.gov.

This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow. The responses will be due approximately 10 days after the RFQ issue date and it’s anticipated that the response date for quotes will be approximately June 18, 2026. The specific date and time will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice.
The RFQ package, including applicable documentation, will be posted to SAM.GOV. No hardcopies or email copies will be provided. Offerors must have a SAM UEI number, be registered, and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
