Pre-Solicitation Notice: National Park Service, Contracting Operations (ConOps) Central, Lakewood Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation for a Request for Quotes (RFQ).
Solicitation Number: 140P1226Q0018
Project Location: Washita Battlefield National Historic Site (WABA), Cheyenne, Oklahoma
Project Description: Washita Battlefield National Historic Site (WABA) operates a combined Visitor Center and Administrative Building that contains the park’s public interface, staff offices, collections storage areas, and critical infrastructure. The existing fire alarm system, intrusion alarm system, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system are outdated, no longer meet current standards, and require replacement. Additionally, the site requires installation of a new electronic door access control system to ensure controlled access to building entrances.
The National Park Service (NPS) seeks a qualified contractor to provide design, equipment, installation, testing, training, and documentation for integrated physical security and life safety systems. All work shall comply with NPS, DOI, NFPA, and applicable codes.
Period of Performance: 120 days beginning in mid-May 2026.
Final contract performance periods may be adjusted due to solicitation and award process.
The contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a firm-fixed price service contract.
The associated NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business size standard is $19 Million.
