About this file
This is a pre-solicitation notice for a follow-on contract to establish and maintain a geochemical database for the Coso Geothermal Field and Coso Hot Springs monitoring program. The Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) at Naval Base Ventura County is seeking a single contractor to combine existing Coso well geochemistry and Coso Hot Springs geochemistry datasets into an integrated database, update the database annually with new geochemical data provided by the Government, and incorporate isotope data from Coso and adjacent areas. The contract will be awarded using commercial item acquisition procedures with negotiation. The performance location is China Lake, California.
The contract structure includes a 12-month base period with a minimum guarantee, followed by four optional one-year periods. The Government may require continued performance for up to six months if a follow-on contract is not awarded timely. The procurement is classified under NAICS Code 541330 (Engineering Services) with an annual size standard of $19,000,000, making this suitable for small business consideration. The proposal closing date is to be determined. Interested contractors should contact Stanley J. Zgrzepski IV (stanley.j.zgrzepski.civ@us.navy.mil) or Contracting Officer Nicole Valencia (nicolemichelle.m.valencia.civ@us.navy.mil) for additional information.
