About this file
This synopsis describes a United States Air Force contract opportunity for the remanufacture of F-15 aircraft components. The solicitation, issued by Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, seeks a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract for remanufacturing and modifying pitch/roll channel assemblies and pitch trim controllers for F-15 A-D and F-15E aircraft models. The contract will have a 3-year duration (2-year basic with 1-year option) and involves detailed work including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, reassembly, testing, and finishing to return components to like-new condition.
The solicitation covers four primary line items: remanufacturing two different pitch/roll channel assemblies (NSN 1650-01-446-2029 and 1650-01-446-0599), remanufacturing a pitch trim controller (NSN 4810-01-396-3097HS), and modifying specific assemblies. Quantities range from 8-20 units per line item during the basic period, with additional option year quantities. Qualification requirements apply, and there is a single approved source, making this a potential sole source solicitation. The government plans to issue the solicitation on 09 October 2025, with a response closing date of 23 November 2025 and an estimated award date of 02 May 2026. Delivery will be 2 units every 30 days to the DLA Distribution Depot at Tinker AFB.
