About this file

This document is a synopsis for a federal contract opportunity issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA Aviation) for an electromechanical actuator. The solicitation (SPRRA2-25-R-0087) seeks a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for 87-152 electromechanical actuators (NSN: 1440-01-277-1226, Part Number: 11450145-19) specifically for the M-D6 PATRIOT weapon system. The procurement is highly restricted, with only three companies eligible to compete: Raytheon Company, C.I.L. Inc., and Intracom S.A. Defense Electronic Systems.

The contract requires specialized manufacturing capabilities, with precise testing and inspection facilities mandatory for production. Production lead times vary between 180-398 days after contract award, depending on first article testing requirements. Deliveries will be made to Fort Bliss, TX. The solicitation includes strict export control provisions, requiring active United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification for both quoters and manufacturers. Potential offerors must provide their company name, CAGE code, and contact information when requesting solicitation details, with all communications directed to Harrison Mayfield via email at harrison.mayfield@dla.mil.
