Q: I am looking at SWR2503 and I notice that the RFQ says that asphalt batches should be 350 degrees at the time of collection. Is that referring to our liquid asphalt deliveries, or hot mix asphalt batches that the maintenance crews would be purchasing from us?
A: Yes. This was in reference to hot mix. At compression the temperature should be at about 295 degrees F and at the time of collection the temperature should be between the range of 305 degrees F to 340 degrees F.
