About this file
This document is a Sole Source Determination for the Sunrise Water Authority (SWA) in Oregon. SWA is seeking to continue a pilot project for the use of proprietary technology designed to provide remote, continuously monitored leak detection services targeted at non-invasive condition assessment for a specific class of ductile iron pipe inventory. The original services contract was for a 5-year period, and SWA has renewed the services contract for an additional 5 years, from 2022 through 2027. The equipment and services are provided by Echologics, LLC, a patented technology provider. SWA is seeking a Sole Source Exemption to continue this experimental project.
The estimated total value of the contract is not to exceed $32,000. SWA has determined that this procurement is an efficient use of existing goods and services, the equipment is available from only one provider, the services are available from only one source, and it is part of an ongoing experimental investigation.
