About this file
This document is Amendment Three to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the State of Maryland Department of General Services Office of Procurement and Logistics for a Statewide On-Call Bus and Transportation Services contract. The amendment clarifies and responds to questions regarding the scope of work, vehicle types, billing, and other requirements. The contract is intended to make multiple awards for on-call bus and transportation services across the state. The solicitation does not specify any details regarding historical service levels, anticipated demand, or current incumbents. Bidders must meet the minimum qualifications and responsibilities outlined in the IFB to be considered for award. The contract will include provisions for handling emergencies and catastrophic events, but the specific coverage area and response requirements are not defined. Pricing adjustments may be negotiated annually, but the State is not open to innovative approaches such as supplemental rideshare services.
