About this file

This is a Surplus Materiel Worksheet (AFMC Form 813) evaluating the acceptability of surplus government and commercial inventory for use in federal contracting, dated March 31, 2026, with completion on April 7, 2026.

The document evaluates part number 209-075-326-001 (NSN 6350004597701GA) manufactured by CAGE 97499 for application in UH-1N aircraft. The evaluation was requested by Robert C. Guest at AFLCMC/WIUEE to determine whether surplus materiel can fulfill government procurement needs for this component. The evaluation establishes acceptance criteria across multiple surplus materiel categories including new/unused, new/reconditioned, new/modified, and used/overhauled conditions for both government and commercial surplus inventory. Acceptable surplus materiel must meet specific requirements including part number and manufacturer verification, proof of prior government ownership (where applicable), 100% end-item inspection, test and verification per Technical Order 8D15-12-2-3, verifiable dimensions per drawing 209-075-326, and overhaul and certification to Specification 209-075-326-001. The evaluation notes that items appearing on the original Bell 212 aircraft are acceptable for UH-1N use provided ultimate certification traces to Bell Procurement Specification 209-075-326 specific to the -001 version or Air Force Technical Order 8D15-12-2-3, with reconditioned units subject to identical criteria as overhauled units. Material that is non-functioning or lacks certification tracing to controlling Bell or Air Force documents is deemed unacceptable for use.
