Actual price must be based on current manufacturer’s price to the dealer plus dealer mark-up. The SFA reserves the right to accept or reject the request for a price increase and will maintain documentation of approval or denial. If price increases escalate above 10 % per the awarded price of each product, the SFA reserves the right to provisionally purchase the product from another source if an equal and more reasonably priced option can be acquired, based on specifications. This clause also obligates vendor to provide price decreases from de-escalation on the same terms.

If administrative/operational fixed fees are also significantly affected by market conditions during periods of unprecedented economic instability, that are beyond the control of either the SFA or the vendor, a fixed fee price adjustment can also be increased up to 5% on as needed basis. This fixed fee price increase must be verified by the current applicable Consumer Price Index, such as the monthly Consumer Price Index motor fuel index for times when fuel prices unexpectedly increase rapidly.
