1. Contech StormFilter Vaults – 18-inch Stormfilter ¼ turn – ZMG media
Inspect and clean the vaults including Contech StormGate Diversion structures semi-annually. Typically, maintenance should occur around March and September of each calendar year. Remove trash, debris, and sediment. Pressure wash, collect the wastewater, and dispose of wastewater at an off-site location in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Contech StormFilter cartridges shall be inspected for condition semi-annually, and replaced if worn or damaged as confirmed with the Airport, or replaced a minimum of every 3 years. Contech StormFilter cartridges are all the same size and may be replaced with a new Contech cartridge or exchanged with a Contech Engineered Solutions refurbished cartridge. Contractor is responsible for proper offsite disposal of filters. No laydown area will be provided for this scope of work. Contractor may lay plastic on the ground to set the used filters down. All cleaning (pressure washing) and vacuuming activity occurs within the vault. There shall be no water or spraying or cleaning on the ground surface. Contractor will supply their own water for the cleaning.
JWA has four (4) Contech StormFilter Systems and one (1) MWS described below and shown on MAP:
• Terminal C Airport Expansion – One (1) Contech StormFilter Vault (7 ZPG filters cartridges) with a Contech StormGate diversion structure. See Attachment C for a photo log of the TCU and
WQMP Figure.
• Parking Structure C – Three (3) Contech StormFilter Vaults (4 ZPG filter cartridges for the Air
Cargo System and 6 ZPG filter cartridges each for Systems B and C). Each system has a Contech
StormGate diversion structure. See Attachment D for a photo log of the TCU, and figures and product specification sheets from the WQMP.
2. Modular Wetland System (MWS)
MWS: Inspect and clean semi-annually. Typically, maintenance should occur around March and
September of each calendar year. Clean the separation chamber removing trash, debris, and sediment. Pressure wash during cleaning, collect material and wastewater and dispose at an off-site location in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Replace BioGreen filter media during the
2021-2022 contract period. Replace vegetation, if dead or missing, as directed by JWA.

JWA has permeable pavement at the Maintenance Building and the Administrative Building (also known as Paularino Gate) as shown on MAP. Contractor shall vacuum the fine-grained sediment and dispose the sediment at an off-site location in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, if needed. The contractor shall replace stone between permeable pavers with 1/4”- 3/8” washed fractured stone per
ASTM No. 8 requirements, as needed. The Airport will supply the replacement stone. This scope of work shall be performed semi-annually at the direction of JWA. The square footage of permeable pavement is approximately 14,100 square feet. If the permeable pavement is damaged, the contractor shall notify
