About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IL EPA) for the procurement of stereoscopes and related accessories. The IL EPA seeks to purchase three sets of stereo microscopes, including zoom bodies, light stands, stage plates, objectives, observation tubes, eyepieces, power cords, LED illuminators, and adapters, as well as one compatible digital camera with 5-10 megapixel resolution. The specifications indicate that the equipment must be compatible with the agency's existing Olympus LC20 digital cameras. Quotes are due by July 27th at 5PM CST.
The RFQ outlines pricing requirements, including the need for quoted prices to be valid for 30 days, to include shipping and handling, and to have no price increases. The agency reserves the right to reject any or all offers, award by item or in total, and waive minor defects. The contract is contingent upon the availability of sufficient funds, and the agency or the vendor may terminate or suspend the agreement in the event of a funding failure.
