Bids will be evaluated based on price, warranty terms, manufacturer performance data, delivery schedule, parts availability, and other factors deemed appropriate by the Department. The specification emphasizes that all materials must be new, heavy-duty design suitable for extreme continuous service, and in full compliance with Federal and State of Maine regulations and OSHA requirements. Warranties become effective upon the state placing the equipment into service, and the manufacturer or dealer must place Fleet Service on mailing lists for warranty recalls and technical updates.
