Project Service Contract for diagnostic instruments and equipment at the LAVECEN Lab
General Information
1.0 Scope of Work
The scope of this work is to purchase an annual service agreement for the diagnostic equipment at the LAVECEN Lab. This service includes onsite visits, inspection, and replacement of specific parts of the equipment that wear out or are broken with some exceptions. As well as to provide customer service when there are issues with the instruments that result in delays or work stoppages.
2.0 Background
The National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) laboratory located in Dominican Republic has multiple instruments and equipment that require preventative maintenance in support of African Swine Fever testing. All instruments and equipment are critical diagnostic tools for emergency response, and outbreak preparedness. They, however, require regular annual servicing and if something breaks there is a need to work with the company to troubleshoot issues. Not servicing these instruments regularly will result in more expensive costs to fix the instruments, and for emergency visits when they break, or don’t function properly.
